IT M&A Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT M&A Project Manager to join our team at London Strategy. As a key member of our consulting firm, you will be responsible for leading IT projects with our pharma clients in the UK/EU.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the integration of IT infrastructure and operations during mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IT services following the merger or acquisition.
- Coordinate the separation and integration of IT systems, applications, and processes to support the newly formed entity.
- Manage logistical aspects of IT asset transfer and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Direct and oversee the IT team throughout the integration process, prioritizing continuity of service and efficiency.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential risks.
- Lead and manage multiple integration projects concurrently, providing guidance and support to project teams.
- Cultivate strong relationships with project managers and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure alignment across various integration initiatives and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Proactively identify and address issues and change requests, escalating as necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies and apply them effectively to M&A integration projects.
- Understand the broader strategic objectives of the M&A transaction and align IT integration efforts accordingly.
- Conduct thorough project reviews and produce comprehensive reports for executive leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management within a consulting organization (Big4 experience is a strong plus).
- 5+ years of IT M&A program/project management experience (MUST).
- Experience on projects/programs dealing with Mergers, Acquisitions, or Divestments (MUST).
- Knowledge of pharma-related IT regulation (GxP, CSV) (preferred).
- Experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams across different geographies.
- Familiarity with project metrics reporting and dashboards.
- Experience reporting to senior/executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience preparing and running workshops.
- Managed projects in different time zones and across different geographies.
- Relevant bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
