- Adapt to different routines and provide support tailored to each person's unique requirements.

- A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.
- Empathy, patience, and understanding to cater to the unique needs and preferences of the people we support.
- Effective communication skills, as clear and compassionate communication is essential to build positive relationships.
- Flexibility in adapting to different routines and providing support tailored to each person's unique requirements.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with other staff members and professionals.
Benefits
- Full and part-time posts are available, with a full-time basic salary of £25,029.
- Earn approximately an additional £3,000 per year by completing 1 weekly sleep-in shift.
- Availability of overtime - e.g., 1 extra shift per week can earn you an additional £4,000 per year.
- Holiday Scheme: Annual leave starting at 22 days, plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 26 days).
- Sleep-in Shifts: Paid at £60 per night in addition to basic salary.
- Occupational Sick Pay: Up to 3 months full pay and 3 months half pay.
- DBS Certificate and SCW Registration: Costs covered by the company.
- Induction, Support, and Development: Fully funded comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and qualification in Health & Social Care.
Please note that, before joining Perthyn, Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) checks are made on all employees who directly support vulnerable adults.
