Job Description

MPI Limited is seeking a skilled Servo Motor Repair Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality servo motor test, repair, rework, update, and replacement service to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive fault diagnostic knowledge, down to component level, with good soldering skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repairing and testing servo motors to ensure they meet quality, safety, and reliability standards.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on various industrial equipment.
  • Undertaking product rework modifications as required.
  • Reviewing test procedures and forwarding amendments to relevant bodies.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping standards are applied and sustained.
  • Complying with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and OHSAS 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management.

Requirements include:

  • SAP knowledge is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • O-level, CSE or GCSE (or equivalent qualifications) – Math's and English required.
  • ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualifications).

We offer a competitive hourly rate and a contract that is ongoing.
