About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company achieves best value for money through effective contract negotiation and management of supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers to achieve best value for the company
  • Directing internal stakeholders in supplier selection, evaluation, and risk management
  • Identifying and managing procurement demand on a timely basis
  • Obtaining quotes from multiple suppliers and reporting savings
  • Developing procurement strategies and awarding contracts to achieve best value
  • Providing market knowledge and negotiating commercial terms
  • Post-purchase and contract award management of supplier performance
  • Adhering to departmental procurement processes

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including 34 days holiday per year, a generous contributory pension scheme, and a discretionary business bonus scheme.
