As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior members of the team, working on luxury residential and hospitality projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead the creative direction of projects, working closely with team leaders and clients to ensure a smooth sign-off process.
- Design Inspiration: Inspire the team with new ideas and concepts, driving innovation and creativity in our designs.
- Client Liaison: Liaise directly with clients, communicating design concepts and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Design Development: Record design and specifications, and help manage other members of the project team as needed.
- Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials that fit with the concept design brief and budget.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, researching new creative and sustainable approaches.
- Project Management: Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams regularly, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Experience: 7+ years' experience working on luxury residential and hospitality projects.
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA project stages and FF&E processes, self-motivated and proactive with ability to take initiative, excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient with AutoCAD, In Design, Photoshop, SketchUp, MS Office, and hand sketching.
- Driving License: Full, clean UK driving license.
- Salary: Circa £42,000 - £46,000, flexible for outstanding candidates.
- Hybrid Working: Hybrid working setup, with 1 day working from home.
- Holidays: Up to 22 days + Bank Holidays + Birthday day off + Studio closure between Christmas and New Year.
- Flexible Working Hours: Early finish Fridays from June to August, and in December.
- Maternity Pay: Enhanced maternity pay.
- Pension Scheme: Workplace pension scheme.
