About the Role

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join its global brokerage team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust information security architectures, ensuring the protection of businesses and their assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain information security architectural standards and technical specifications.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to the global security architecture to enhance security posture and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to security design patterns and best practices.
  • Design solutions that balance business requirements with information security needs.
  • Proactively identify technical and architectural risks, providing alternatives for improvement.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept testing and provide in-depth analysis of proposed solutions.
  • Partner with architects and engineers to ensure compliance with GCIS policies and standards.
  • Assist with risk mitigation and governance activities aligned with security architecture compliance.

About You

We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in regulated environments, preferably in the Insurance or financial services industry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in cybersecurity, ideally in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated working experience in a globally distributed environment.
  • Experience working with at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
  • Extensive experience with networking, firewalls, endpoint protection, Identity and Access Management, and data protection.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a wide range of benefits, including minimum 25 days holiday, defined contribution pension scheme, life insurance, health cash plan, employee stock purchase plan, share incentive plan, critical illness cover, discounted gym membership, season ticket loan, and access to a discounted voucher portal.
