Job Overview

This pivotal role at a leading cosmetics company involves ensuring products meet global regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.

As Cosmetic Regulatory Specialist, you'll guide the regulatory strategy, guarantee compliance for new product launches, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to:

  • Lead global product registrations for seamless market entry.
  • Research and implement changes in regulatory legislation, including updates post-Brexit.
  • Manage quality assurance processes and resolve technical issues with manufacturers.
  • Support new product launches and help substantiate product claims for packaging and promotions.
  • Ensure accurate export documentation meets global shipping requirements.

You will need:

  • Solid experience in technical and regulatory functions, preferably within cosmetics or a related field.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges around new legislation and compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Strategy

Develop and execute a regulatory strategy to ensure compliance and drive growth.

Product Registrations

Lead global product registrations to facilitate seamless market entry.

Quality Assurance

Manage quality assurance processes to ensure product quality and resolve technical issues with manufacturers.

New Product Launches

Support new product launches and help substantiate product claims for packaging and promotions.

Export Documentation

Ensure accurate export documentation meets global shipping requirements.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, law).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical and regulatory functions, preferably within cosmetics or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving compliance and innovation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Salary

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
