CNC Programmer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for producing and providing part programs, setting information, and tooling information to the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and set up CNC machines to produce high-precision parts
  • Develop and maintain part programs and methodologies for CNC mills
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and reduce lead times
  • Support and advise colleagues on machining and programming techniques
  • Plan and specify tooling requirements for production, including fixture and cutting tool lists

Requirements:

  • Experience with CNC programming and setup
  • Proficiency in EDGECAM CAD/CAM software
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
