We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to join our engineering team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing superior quality Engineering Design services to minimize risks and maximize profits on turnkey and engineering services contracts.

Your role will involve coordinating the design and producing design documents and drawings, taking due account of health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards pertaining to the contract.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing design layouts that are cost-effective, meet the requirements of the specification, and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
  • Ensuring that standard practices are utilized wherever possible.
  • Maintaining competitiveness.
  • Providing estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
  • Working to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the department.
  • Assisting in developing procedures and processes.
  • Monitoring and reviewing procedures and processes.
  • Writing, updating, and monitoring efficient procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
  • Ensuring coordination of designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWH Treatment to ensure that the design processes carried out on the contract are coordinated for the benefit of the contract as a whole.
  • Maintaining files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
  • Assuring customer satisfaction.
  • To work within a culture where satisfying the customer is recognized as the key to achieving other objectives, and that customers include everyone receiving benefit from our processes, whether end users or other departments within the company.
  • Maintaining a personal development plan.
  • Assisting in supervising and developing staff.
  • Assisting in ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Reducing waste to a minimum from all departmental activities.
  • Ensuring designs take account of environmental issues.
  • Ensuring that design takes full regard of all health and safety requirements.
