Job Description:
At Caremark Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional care to our customers, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Personalised Care: Provide personal care tasks, including assistance with dressing, toileting, and mobility, using personal aids effectively.
- Empower Our Customers: Encourage engagement through conversation, outings, hobbies, and other activities, promoting mental and physical stimulation.
- Support Independence: Foster a sense of self-reliance and dignity by promoting independence wherever possible.
- Maintain Professional Records: Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, adhering to Caremark's policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous Experience: Advantageous but not essential. Willingness to complete the Care Certificate, if not already obtained, is a must.
- Essential Skills: Ability to drive, access to a vehicle, and a good standard of literacy for record-keeping and report writing.
- Mandatory Training: Willingness and ability to undergo mandatory training, including First Aid and Moving and Handling training.
