Job Title: Consultant Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at North Bristol NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering assessment, consultation, and psychological intervention for individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the outpatient and inpatient service for FND, working closely with the service manager, consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
  • Contribute to the supervision of junior staff and support colleagues across the south-west and nationally through professional networks and teaching opportunities.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of evidence-based service outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Training in clinical psychology to doctoral standard, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience of working with patients who have a diagnosis of FND and significant supervised clinical practice in clinical neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of adults.
