Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist to join our team in Birmingham. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless coordination of customer shipments and accurate updates within our operational system.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Process tasks efficiently using Business Process Automation to link sales quotations with shipments, manage costing and gross profit accurately.
  • Coordinate customer shipments, update key milestones in the operational system, and maintain seamless communication with Customer Care Specialists.
  • Manage information flow between teams and external stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in freight forwarding or transport planning, preferably focusing on sea freight.
  • Import Operations experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to understand and execute new processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office features, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of Incoterms, shipment types, and methods.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
