Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Advocate to join our team at Glasgow City Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a proactive, short to medium-term service to victims/survivors of domestic abuse.

The role involves working with Advocacy Workers and Children and Young Persons Advocacy Workers to provide a supportive environment for those affected by domestic abuse. The successful candidate will also undertake an initial review of all ASSIST client intake to identify and focus on those most at risk.

This is a peripatetic role and could be based across any of the locations from which ASSIST delivers a service. Additionally, hybrid working is available in this role (currently a maximum of 50% home working).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a proactive, short to medium-term service to victims/survivors of domestic abuse
- Work with Advocacy Workers and Children and Young Persons Advocacy Workers to provide a supportive environment
- Undertake an initial review of all ASSIST client intake to identify and focus on those most at risk

Requirements
- Membership to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme (Vulnerable Adults & Children)
- Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 2 check
