Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Study Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tactical oversight of the end-to-end supply chain for assigned GSK R&D clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define detailed demand and supply plans for investigational medicines that consistently deliver those medicines on-time to patients.
- Review and influence clinical protocols relative to investigational product (IP) supply and determine optimal supply plans that are patient-focused, risk-adjusted, and cost-effective.
- Ensure timely execution of supply chain plans and follow through on supply chain performance to ensure the successful delivery of the supply chain.
- Support Phase I through IV GSK sponsored clinical studies as well as investigator-sponsored trials and compassionate use studies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Knowledgeable of clinical trial study designs and approaches and their implications for supply chain.
- Knowledgeable in the management of investigational product supplies and experience in inventory management.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of supply chain and planning principles.
- Ability to manage multiple and complex projects that require strong problem-solving skills and creative or innovative thought to address global supply problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain.
- APICS Certification, Black or Green Belt, Lean Sigma Certification.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Ability to simplify complex processes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
