English Literature Teacher Opportunity

Teaching Tomorrow Ltd is seeking a dedicated and imaginative English Literature teacher to join their team on a part-time basis at a large secondary school in Dunstable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 4 students, 3 days a week, from after the October half-term until the Easter break. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the subject and a commitment to helping students develop their understanding and appreciation of English literature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching English Literature to Key Stage 4 students
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Collaborating with the English department to achieve curriculum goals

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the English and Literature national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
