Water Sector Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Delivery team based at Knapps Mill WTW in Christchurch. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and assist in coordinating an effective and economic plant design and procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Project Engineer/Construction Manager in ensuring information is issued in time to enable construction, commissioning, and putting to work in line with the Contract Programme.
  • Provide cost data for forecasts and evaluation of variations.
  • Ensure project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance.
  • Assist with the Project Management strategy.
  • Assist in the production of the contract programme.

The ideal candidate will have a basic engineering background, working knowledge of various conditions of contract especially NEC, and engineering/technical qualification (HNC minimum). Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £40-55k depending on experience, hybrid working, car/car allowance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, contribution pension scheme, life assurance, health insurance, private medical insurance, and many more benefits.
