Job Description

PTC Solution Architect

We are seeking exceptional candidates who are looking for an exciting career as a PTC Solution Architect. As a PTC Solution Architect, you will take high-level responsibility for the day-to-day management of multiple projects, ensuring the quality of work produced meets the client's business needs and priorities. The work is fast-paced, demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. Our focus is helping clients extract value from software solutions, not just on making the technology work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop business solutions, working with business process owners, department heads, functional groups, IT, and others in the client ecosystem.
  • Face-to-face interaction with clients to design solutions that address application gaps or facilitate system interaction between commercial solutions and the client's existing applications.
  • Engage in regular conversations with project sponsors on their digital thread journey and opportunities for growth.
  • Design the technical architecture for the solutions in a manner that allows ease of use and quick adoption by users in all the involved business groups for a diverse set of clients in the various industries.
  • Design, develop, and provide oversight to the development team related to the solution design, testing, and deployment of the software solutions.
  • Provide leadership in the development and sharing of complex, market-valued intellectual capital.
  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client and align the solution with final terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years relevant experience in the following software solutions: Windchill, ThingWorx.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Windchill, Agile 9, NGC, Centric, Teamcenter, etc.
  • 6+ years minimum experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.
  • Experience leading the implementation, validation, and deployment of scalable, commercial PLM solutions in a client-facing setting.
  • Planning and tracking complex projects and demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-change environments.
  • Business critical software development and/or rollout in organizations.
  • General knowledge of Agile and SDLC software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plan, etc.).
  • Previous consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Good written and oral communication skills and capable of tailoring complex messages into simplified and business-applicable material for key stakeholders.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80% nationwide, some international travel too.
  • Fluent English is required and French language skills are a nice to have.
