About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Finance Manager to join our team at Meraki Talent Limited in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic company that is at the forefront of innovation and cutting-edge technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving business growth. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting to and deputising for the Head of Finance
  • Hiring, training, and developing finance professionals
  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and returns for domestic and overseas entities
  • Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Periodic and ad-hoc financial analysis, including KPIs, costs, revenue, trends, and variance analysis
  • Budget setting and monitoring
  • Annual audit preparation, including liaising with External Auditors
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Assisting with taxation and VAT returns
  • Ensuring robust month and year-end processes
  • Overseeing transactional finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls, and systems

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and commercial finance, with experience in leading finance teams and driving business growth. They will be passionate about building and developing finance teams and will have excellent communication and leadership skills.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £65,000, plus bonus, and a generous benefits package, including a brilliant range of other benefits and perks. The role is based in Edinburgh, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
