Store Manager

Hours per Week: 16 hours with the opportunity to work more hours
Shift pattern: Part-time - flexible shift patterns across mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends, which will be discussed further at interview
Salary: £12.25 - £12.40 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor at our Dumbarton store. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, managing and coaching your team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a high level of store standards, including visual merchandising and stock management
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
- Monitor and control store expenses, including stock levels and inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
- 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and make informed decisions
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service
