SEN Support Associate

We are seeking an SEN Support Associate to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse educational needs. As an SEN Support Associate, you will work closely with a dedicated teaching team to provide academic and vocational support, helping students unlock their potential and thrive in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
- Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
- Promote an environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all.
- Play a proactive role in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students in developing confidence and independence.
- Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.
- Eager to develop their skills and work towards formal qualifications (funded by us).
- Compassionate and passionate about working with children and young people with additional needs.
- Able to see potential rather than limitations, with a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students.
- Effective communicators, both in team settings and when working independently.
- Willing to support outdoor and community-based learning activities.
- Educated to at least Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
