At Held Health, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Processing accounts payable and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
  • Processing accounts receivable and chasing up outstanding debt.
  • Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow.
  • Dealing with all finance queries.
  • Preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with external auditors during audits.
  • Utilising accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks for efficient record keeping.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable but not essential.
