Job Summary:

This role involves conducting thorough site surveys of commercial buildings to assess their energy efficiency. As a Commercial Energy Assessor, you will be responsible for collecting accurate data to support building assessments, maintenance plans, and energy efficiency initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and expertise in building systems, with a focus on HVAC systems. You will need to inspect, document, and evaluate the condition, performance, and efficiency of building systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site surveys of commercial buildings, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all areas, including HVAC systems, fixtures, and elements.
  • Inspect, document, and evaluate the condition, performance, and efficiency of building systems, including HVAC equipment.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to measure and record relevant data, such as temperature, humidity, airflow, and energy consumption.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analysis based on survey findings, including recommendations for maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or energy efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in conducting site surveys of commercial buildings, with a focus on HVAC systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, including HVAC equipment, fixtures, and elements.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used for site surveys, such as thermal imaging cameras, airflow meters, and data loggers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and record data.

Salary Range:
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
