Job Overview

This Senior Structural Fabricator role is responsible for working within our composite manufacturing team to produce composite laminated components, composite parts, and assemblies to support our Formula One Team at MTC.

Your key responsibilities will include producing parts 100% to engineering drawing specifications, laminating components, vacuum bagging of components, autoclave operation, inspection of completed components, trimming and assembling carbon fibre components, initial assembly of new car parts, servicing items from races and tests, preparation of parts for Non Destructive Testing inspection, and working in a safe manner and to prescribed processes.

We require the successful candidate to have experience in reading engineering drawings, good practical skills, experience of trimming and assembling carbon fibre components, experience of laminating carbon fibre components, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and basic PC literacy.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
