Job Title: English Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated English teacher to join our team at a well-established secondary school in Aldridge, West Midlands.

About the Role
  • Delivering engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to promote improvement
  • Encouraging a love for literature, language, and writing through interactive and inspiring lessons
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning
  • Supporting students' personal and academic development
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and examination requirements
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one through Aspire People
Salary and Benefits
