Sous Chef
We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team at Ninkasi Pubco Limited. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in planning and executing food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train staff. You will be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing food preparation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff.
- Maintain consistency and quality in daily food presentation.
- Manage inventory and order supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
