Senior Software Development Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our talented team of C#/.NET engineers at Elekta AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing medical workflow software for our world-leading Radiation Therapy Treatment systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques, as well as experience with automated unit testing and front-end web skills using Angular. Proficiency in C# and.NET Framework, as well as a strong understanding of software development methodologies, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components using C# and.NET Framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
  • Develop and implement automated unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve software defects
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development processes

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in C++ and Windows environment
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
  • Domain-driven design practices
