**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at AMS CWS. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of aerospace projects from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning and implementation of aerospace projects, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and external partners.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to optimise project outcomes and meet deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and objectives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and performance metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in project management and aerospace engineering.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in project management within Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, or other highly regulated engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of leading successful projects across Engineering, Supply Chain & Procurement, and Manufacturing & Operations.
- Previous experience in using Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage complex projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
