Job Title: Residential Children's Home Team Leader

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsible to: Registered Manager

Location: Heysham, Morecambe

Salary: Competitive salary with potential to earn up to £32,921.60 with sleep in shifts

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Team Leader to join our Residential Team at Bay View Childcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for children and young adults in our care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of the Home
  • Supporting the development of care plans and ensuring that all legal requirements and Ofsted standards are met
  • Providing a positive and inclusive environment for children and young adults, and promoting their social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Assisting with menu planning, cooking, and purchasing of foodstuffs, and ensuring that the quality of food provided meets the pre-agreed standards
  • Deputising for the Registered Manager at any time when they are not physically present at the Home
