We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Teacher to join our team at Kaimes School, a non-denominational special school in the South of Edinburgh.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a positive impact on the lives of learners with complex long-term additional support needs.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the needs of learners with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and support services to learners
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote attainment and achievement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with families and community partners to ensure seamless transitions and support

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £81,579 per annum, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
