Radiology Interventionalist

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year.

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Interventionalist to join our team at North Metro Knoxville Medical. As a key member of our interventional radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

In this role, you will assist surgeons during operative procedures by passing instruments, medications, dressings, etc., and often provide retraction assistance. You will also conduct assessments and procedures including, but not limited to, angioplasty, nephrostomy, drain placement, and thrombectomy.

• Utilize advanced imaging and the latest interventional technologies to perform various procedures.
• Set up surgical trays, inventory, and sterile set-up as needed.
• Pass instruments, administer medications, transport patients, assist with vital signs, help turnover rooms, and clean the operating theater.

• A graduate degree from an accredited school of radiology and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. are required.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, empathy, and dedication to patient care are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment is crucial.
