Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our pre-construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical content for bids and tenders in the construction industry. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments, including contracts, design, commercial, and estimating teams, to create compelling proposals that showcase our company's capabilities and approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Development: Create detailed project programmes from concept to construction, ensuring all project milestones are achievable and align with client expectations.
  • Bid Strategy: Contribute to the development of bid strategies, ensuring proposals reflect our company's competitive advantages, technical expertise, and innovative solutions.
  • Technical Content Creation: Write detailed technical bid responses, ensuring all technical elements of the proposal align with client needs and project specifications.
  • Collaborative Bid Development: Work closely with supporting departments to gather and integrate technical input into submissions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and provide mitigation strategies to reduce impact.
  • Value Engineering: Contribute to value engineering exercises, suggesting alternative methodologies or materials to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Relationship Management: Develop long-term client relationships through the bid process to assist and create future opportunities.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all bid documentation meets client specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.
