Drainage Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Arcus Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive drainage tasks safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions and escalating where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and adhere to best working practices at all times, following processes laid down by the Health and Safety policy.
  • Sponsor and complete drainage surveys and technical reports as necessary, cascading all key data to relevant personnel throughout field operations.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for Arcus Solutions, maintaining a good impression, complying with the dress code, and keeping your vehicle in good condition.
  • Support colleagues in building a teamwork approach, including training and upskilling of apprentices and communicating regularly and assisting when required.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • CSCS card (Desirable)
  • High pressure water jetting qualification (Desirable)
  • Confined space certification (Desirable)
  • Understanding of commercial drainage systems, ideally gained within a retail environment
  • Understanding of CCTV and the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment dealing with store teams and members of the public
