About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Help to maintain food supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures
  • Support new starters in learning kitchen equipment and procedures

Requirements:

  • NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation (or willingness to study for one)
  • Excellent record keeping and organisational skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain high standards of food safety
  • Kind and considerate approach to communicating with residents and colleagues
