Research Position Overview

Cranfield University is currently recruiting an Experimental Aerosciences Specialist to work on our Centre for Propulsion Engineering's icing science and engineering projects. As part of our faculty, you will have access to our cutting-edge Cranfield Icing Wind Tunnel (IWT) facilities.

Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting experiments and collecting data, which will then be used to develop numerical simulation models and methods for icing science and engineering applications. In addition, you will be required to present research findings at conferences and publish in reputable journals.

A PhD in a relevant field, such as aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering, is necessary for this position, along with good communication skills and experience in experimental aerosciences.
