Financial Planning Analyst

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting annual planning, forecasting, and reporting for our business units and central functions. This includes developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modelling key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily dashboards and weekly management reports.
- Provide commercial recommendations to maximise margin potential in areas such as customer contracts and supplier agreements.
- Produce financial analysis for product and service line P&Ls, business unit P&Ls, customer and project P&Ls, and overall business cases for new service offerings.
- Investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide accurate cost information for decision-makers.
- Contribute to the budget setting process, working with all departments on annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, working with both financial and management accounting teams.
- Develop advanced Excel skills, including building financial models.
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance personnel.
- Demonstrate exceptional commercial awareness.
