About the Job
  • This is an opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Registered Head Veterinary Nurse.
  • You will lead our team across three Inverness practices.

As a Registered Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional first opinion care to a diverse range of animals.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and mentor veterinary care assistants to ensure optimal utilisation of resources and adherence to best practices.
  2. Oversee rota management, holiday scheduling, and performance appraisals for nursing staff.
  3. Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, in line with regulatory requirements.
  4. Facilitate regular team meetings and training sessions to promote collaboration and professional development.
  5. Manage inventory and stock control processes, liaising with suppliers as necessary to ensure adequate supplies.
  6. Implement and monitor improvements in working practices to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

  • Salary: up to £33,000 (plus up to £3,000 Relocation Allowance and up to £2,000 Welcome Bonus).
