Global Sales Director

A leading entity in the Food Service, Wholesale, Cash & Carry, and Retail Sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their vibrant team. With a legacy of excellence dating back to 1989, this company is celebrated for its market-leading brands, quality products, and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will come from a Food Produce or FMCG background. They will have a proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the relevant industry, and exceptional ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Additionally, they should have experience within Food or FMCG and strong determination and tenacity to drive sales growth.

The key responsibilities of this role include strategically growing sales within an existing portfolio of key accounts, crafting individual customer plans to generate additional sales in a highly competitive market, and building and maintaining strong, lasting customer relationships. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a proactive and can-do attitude towards achieving sales targets, collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and seize market opportunities, and participate in occasional Head Office work and overnight stays as necessary.
