Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems and electronics projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Lead a small project design team to produce quality design solutions within cost, time, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to perform classical engineering analysis on designs, including stress, fatigue & vibration using conventional analysis and computer simulation.
  • Perform lab testing for verification and conformance of design outputs to meet the design inputs.
  • Develop and maintain engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigation, and other formal documentation.
  • Coordinate with wider engineering teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
  • Provide support for production, test, and field engineering teams, as well as sales teams with bids and quotations.
Requirements:
  • Design of complex mechanisms and structures.
  • Lead role in system design from concept to production.
  • Load analysis and design for drive mechanisms and motor systems.
  • Knowledge of machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks).
  • Strong technical understanding and leadership in project design.
