Cover Supervisor Opportunity

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to work with our partner schools in Chorley, Lancashire. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools, providing support to students and teachers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage student behavior in the classroom, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources, assisting students with their work and responding to their questions.
  • Report back to absent teachers on lesson progress and any issues that may have arisen.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas.
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting students' learning.
  • A commitment to the ethos and values of the school.
