Leadership Role in Patient Care

Job Purpose:
The post holder provides leadership for the delivery of patient care within their area of responsibility.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs, evaluation of care plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
The post holder has specific responsibility and accountability for maintaining both clinical and staff governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and deploy staff in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse / Team Manager.
- Assess care needs and evaluate care plans to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
- Maintain both clinical and staff governance within the area of responsibility.
