We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding primary school in Woodstock. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Key Stage 1 class and working closely with the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to students in Key Stage 1
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
- Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
- Manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm and caring environment
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student development
- Mandatory enhanced child DBS
- Experience working with children aged 5-11 or young people with additional care needs
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and maintain a calm and caring disposition
- Strong, resilient personality with a commitment to student development
- Proficiency in reading, writing, numeracy, and communication
- Team Teach training desirable
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm
- No weekends or bank holidays
- Competitive daily rate of £83-£90 (experience lead)
