Care Assistant

At Visiting Angels South Yorkshire, we redefined the role of carers in society, delivering a new standard of person-centred care. As a Care Assistant, you will be visiting our clients in their own homes, supporting them with everyday tasks, so they can continue to live independently while enriching their lives in the comfort of their own homes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Personal care, helping clients get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
- Assisting clients with dressing/undressing.
- Preparing meals and snacks.
- Helping with laundry or light housework.
- Supporting our clients to access the community.
- Prompting & administering medication.
- Companionship.
About you
We are seeking a caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference. A full UK driving license and use of a car are essential. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. You will also need to provide proof of right-to-work in the United Kingdom and demonstrate reliability, flexibility, hard work, and honesty. Good communication skills and a good sense of humour are also essential.
