Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Compliance Assurance Specialist to join our team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products comply with international safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement comprehensive compliance strategies, focusing on international safety standards for machinery equipment.
  2. Act as the primary contact for legislative compliance and product safety matters, addressing employee queries and providing training on new regulations and design philosophies.
  3. Perform thorough testing on new and existing products, creating reports for inclusion in manuals and documentation.
  4. Manage and update certifications/approvals for products, adhering to latest relevant standards.
  5. Stay abreast of global compliance regulations.
  6. Take ownership of UL/METlabs inspections and approvals, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  7. Produce detailed risk assessments for products to ISO 12100 standards.
  8. Regularly review company procedures, practices, and documents to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  9. Collaborate with the team to enhance compliance efficiency, focusing on time, cost, and quality.
Essential Skills:
  • Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety standards, particularly in electronics and electrical contexts.
  • Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and understand electronic components.
  • Strong document creation and reporting skills - essential.
  • Experience with PAT and Flash testing, as well as general electrical work (including 3-phase systems).

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
