We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to lead our production team in fulfilling client requirements.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Job Description:

As an Operations Director, you will oversee all aspects of production, with a particular focus on people management. You will work closely with the Quality and HSE Manager, Engineering, and Customer Service Manager to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full production process with a team of 18.
  • Implement a continuous improvement approach to operations, identifying opportunities to develop current processes and procedures.
  • Review and manage KPIs to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Work with engineering to maximise machinery efficiency and capability.
  • Maintain ISO certifications (9001, 14001, and 45001).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful, you will have a proven track record in manufacturing, with experience managing teams and implementing change. You should be familiar with methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S, and be able to demonstrate your ability to drive performance and efficiency.
