Diagnostic Imaging Clerk Job Summary
This position provides administrative support to the Diagnostic Imaging department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient registration, scheduling, and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients and ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Schedule appointments and communicate with staff and patients
- Provide reception duties, including answering phones and directing visitors
- Complete standard forms for registration and billing purposes
- Arrange meetings and prepare agendas and minutes
Requirements:
- Current administered 5-minute typing certificate of 45wpm
- Proof of completion of a Medical Terminology Course
- Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
