Mechanical Services Contracts Manager

Join our team at Verelogic, a well-established design and build contractor, as a Mechanical Services Contracts Manager. We are seeking an experienced professional to manage commercial Mechanical Services projects with a minimum value of GBP1.5m.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled Mechanical Services Contracts Manager to oversee project management of Mechanical Services contracts from estimate handover to final account settlement. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in installation projects across Commercial, Industrial, and Public Sector buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Procure plant materials and subcontractor packages, ensuring best value.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring spend via purchasing software and Excel.
- Analyse labour resource needs, manage site visits, and monitor project progress to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.
- Deliver projects according to contracted targets.
- Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and monitor Health & Safety compliance.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and in-house teams to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Attend project meetings and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Assist with tender submissions, collate certifications, and prepare O&M manuals.
- Strong project management experience in Mechanical Services.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems.
- People management experience and commercial awareness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is beneficial but not essential.
