About the Job

Gunzilla Games is seeking a highly skilled Lead Metagame & Monetization Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing metagame and monetization strategies that drive player engagement and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement metagame and monetization systems that align with the game's overall vision and player experience.
  • Collaborate with the design, development, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of monetization systems.
  • Develop and manage the metagame economy, including the creation of in-game features that promote engagement and revenue generation.
  • Partner with the analytics team to perform data analysis that informs the effectiveness of monetization strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game monetization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in game design with a focus on metagame and monetization.
  • Proven track record of creating successful metagame and monetization systems.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles and player psychology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
