Financial Director

We are partnering with a highly regarded family-owned manufacturing business in Wakefield to support in their search for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller. This role will form part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for leading and developing a small finance team, and the day-to-day running of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Part of the senior leadership team providing strategic decision-making support.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team (AP and AR).
- Preparation of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet etc.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Variance analysis.
- Cash flow management.
- Compliance and risk management.
- Improvement of financial controls and processes.
- Support with any ad-hoc projects.
Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA Qualified or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Experience of leading and developing a small finance team.
- Knowledge of various ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel.
