Job Title: Shift Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find a skilled Shift Operations Manager to join their team. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract based in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop initiatives to enhance skill and competency levels.
  • Ensure effective communication between manufacturing teams and departments.
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
  • Achieve and maintain high standards of hygiene and audit compliance.
  • Take ownership of ensuring all relevant documentation is completed to the required standard.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing manufacturing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example and demonstrate high standards of behavior.
  • Experience working in a Lean environment and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and support the team in all areas of responsibility.
  • Accountable mentality and a focus on delivering results.
