We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team as a Permanence Planning Specialist. This role offers a chance to work with a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

In this position, you will lead on permanency planning for children in care proceedings, working closely with children, families, and professionals to achieve desired outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective plans to secure permanent placements, maintaining accurate records, and producing high-quality reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, preferably with experience in adoption and permanency planning. A qualification in social work and registration with Social Work England are essential.

Key Requirements:

  • BA or MA in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in front-line social work
  • Experience of working with children and families in care proceedings
